I made the same New Year’s Resolution for years….
This year when people think of me they will say “That Shelley, she’s really got it all together!”
And every year I was still a mess! Frustrated, lacking focus, procrastinating, feeling bad about myself. And I would give up, feeling defeated…. yet again.
I wonder if you can relate?
I wish the next thing I was going to say was “Now I’ve got it all together, let me show you how in three easy steps!” But that is not reality. I still don’t always have it all together.
Instead, I have come to understand that “having it together” looks different for each of us. I have learned about how my brain works (and how yours works, too) and how I can work with it instead of against it. And that has changed my life!
I believe these same things will change your life, too.
Here are some other things I believe…. You are not broken and you do not need to be “fixed.” You already have inside you what it takes to be successful. You are absolutely worth the work it takes to achieve your goals and live the life you have dreamed of. And I know that working together as co-creative partners in the coaching process, we can get you there.

Here’s How Coaching Works….
The work we do is client-driven, co-creative and individualized. But there are some basic elements of coaching that are always important.
The first time we meet is a free discovery session, and a chance for us to learn about each other and to take care of some planning details. If it looks like we are a good fit, we will begin making plans for our work together.
We always begin by taking a good objective look at your life and circumstances. You will be able to clarify your strengths and identify the road blocks that tend to stand in your way.
We will do some deep digging to find where your passion lies and what your big picture goals really are. We will work to create a vision of the person you want to be and the life you want to live.
I will help you break down your big life goals into realistic, manageable and measurable steps, and create an action plan. I will be there to encourage you and hold you accountable for taking action during the week. (Yep… the hard work is yours…)
Along the way you will learn about Understanding Your Brain, Overcoming Negative Thought Patterns, Strengthening Executive Function Skills. You will develop the self-awareness, systems, skills and strategies to achieve your goals and reach your full potential. And we will always emphasize the primary importance of understanding, accepting and loving yourself.
We will celebrate completed steps and reaching goals, then we will make plans to continue on your journey.
